Hodgins Building Centre Supports Community with $50,000 Donation to Wingham Hospital

by Bob Montgomery

Hodgins Building Centre is donating $50,000 to the Caring Together campaign at the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation to help fund a brand-new CT Scanner.

Hodgins Building Centre is a family-owned business serving the Wingham and Lucknow areas. Their contribution will help establish the new digital imaging technology and provide better emergency care to patients who live in the same communities served by Hodgins Building Centre.

Third generation owners Brock and Jordan Hodgins said that “Donating to the hospital and other important local organizations is our way of giving back to the community that has supported our family business for so many years”.

Campaign Chair Mark Foxton accepted the donation saying: “It’s gratifying to see the next generation of business owners step up and support the community. The Hodgins donation to the hospital sets a great example. We can’t thank them enough”.

The Caring Together campaign is aiming to raise $2.5 million for a CT Scanner to strengthen emergency care and help make the hospital more attractive to potential new healthcare professionals.
